"Giving Your Bread to the Hungry"
The Bible tells us the story of a righteous man named "Job." Even in the midst of one of his greatest trials
of his life, he made this statement...
"If I have withheld the poor from their desire or have caused the eyes of
the widow to fail; or have eaten my morsel of bread, myself alone, and the fatherless have not eaten thereof, then let mine
arm fall from my shoulder blade and mine arm be broken from the bone..." (Job 31:16:22)
There is a Creole proverb that says, "An empty sac cannot stand." It simply means,
when you're hungry, you can't stand, you can't work...you can't think.
That is why Loma Linda Ministries
in San Telmo feel responsibility of feed the hungry children. The most of children what we meet have
hunger, lot of them have only meal all day. In our Feeding Programs we expect complete families require food, most
in Nov through March, because is the not work time in vegetable farms.
We are Praying for Built our Feeding Kitchen in San Telmo.
We are planning to construct a building of 24 ft. (Wide) x 45 ft. (lengthy), which
will operate as the multipurpose Room, kitchen and dining room. The cost can vary by time to build, we equip it with a stove,
refrigerator, freezer and everything needed for their function, we know that God is the provider, and it will supplement what
we need. Help us pray for this project.
Individual cost to Feeding Program
It costs about $ 2.00 US dlls. per meal to feed the children in our feeding programs. That means,
it will cost about $ 60.00 a month (per kid ) to keep our Feeding Program going. Please, pray about what the Lord would have
you do to help. You may want to sponsor ten meals, Please, remember our neighbors ... the hungry children of San Telmo
